About The Role
The Content Operations Manager will be responsible for delivering content and key content strategy to support Prophecy’s go-to-market teams. Responsibilities include creating content strategy and overseeing the end-to-end process of content planning, creation, distribution, management, and analysis. This role ensures that all content aligns with business objectives, maintains brand consistency, and delivers interest and engagement with data experts in our enterprise customer, prospect, and partner audiences. The ideal candidate will have experience in the data technology space and a strong background in content marketing, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to streamline content operations.
You Will:
- Deliver Strategic Content Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies that align with our go to market strategy and resonate with our enterprise customer, prospect and partner audiences.
- Oversee Content Production: Manage the creation of high-quality, engaging content to support go to market activities including blogs, articles, ebooks, whitepapers, videos, and demos. Ensure consistency across various formats, ensuring consistency in messaging and adherence to brand guidelines. This includes writing as well as editing content. B2B marketing writing examples will be requested.
- Manage and Optimize Workflows: Create content workflows to enhance efficiency, meet deadlines, and ensure seamless collaboration among content creators, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee Content Technology Management: Select and manage content management systems and other tools that facilitate efficient content production and distribution. This includes using AI in various forms for content planning, production, and optimization.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce content standards, including style guides and formatting requirements, to maintain a high level of quality and consistency.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to inform future content strategies and improve engagement with our B2B audience.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: work across teams including product, sales, and alliances, to gather content requirements, communicate plans and schedules, and ensure content meets standards and requirements.
You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in content operations, content marketing, or a related role within enterprise sales, preferably with data technology experience.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Marketing Automation, and other ways of measuring content effectiveness.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing content strategies that drive business results.
- Strong understanding of content workflows, content management systems, and digital marketing tools.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to inform content strategies.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
