The Role
The Content Marketing Specialist will support the Director of Marketing Communications as the primary owner of Fusion's content engine-driving execution across blog posts, whitepapers, partner content, and webinars. Managing the entire content lifecycle by combining human creativity, AI acceleration, and external support to deliver high-impact content at scale. This role is ideal for a savvy content marketer who thrives on balancing strategy and execution-someone who can turn ideas into assets, use AI to move faster, and uphold the trust, tone, and consistency that define Fusion's brand.
Key Responsibilities

  • Own the content calendar and oversee execution across multiple content formats-blogs, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, and partner co-marketing materials
  • Develop briefs, outlines, and frameworks for content creation, using AI tools to accelerate first drafts and optimize workflows while maintaining Fusion brand standards and showcasing our unique expertise and leadership in our market
  • Maintain high editorial standards and brand voice while scaling production through a mix of in-house efforts, freelancers, agencies, and repurposed content
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Product, Demand Gen, Partners) to source ideas and subject matter expertise
  • Manage co-branded and partner content programs-from planning and approvals to publication and performance reporting
  • Lead the execution of webinars, including content development, speaker prep, promotion, and post-event follow-up
  • Track content performance metrics and apply insights to optimize campaigns and editorial priorities
  • Maintain organized content libraries in Fusion's systems (Pardot, Highspot, SharePoint, etc.) and drive continuous improvement of content operations
  • Brief internal teams on campaign activity, including sales, BDRs and other relevant stakeholders.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • AI-first mindset with demonstrated experience using tools like ChatGPT and Grammarly, or similar to generate, optimize, or repurpose content
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with a strong grasp of brand tone and narrative
  • Proven ability to manage multiple content programs simultaneously without sacrificing quality
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices, content analytics, and Demand Gen alignment
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • A collaborative spirit with an eye for detail, a drive for results, and a love for systems and structure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) a plus

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of content marketing or marketing communications experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Experience working with CMS platforms required (WordPress a plus)
  • Experience managing external vendors, freelancers, or agency partners a strong advantage

Milestones for the First Six Months
(In one month you will):

  • Understand the Fusion product offering and content strategy
  • Review and prioritize the current content pipeline and partner commitments

(In three months you will):

  • Fully manage the execution of blog content, webinars, and partner content with a consistent delivery cadence
  • Implement AI workflows to accelerate production and content repurposing

(In six months you will):

  • Launch multi-asset content packages (e.g., whitepaper + blog + webinar + partner content)
  • Deliver measurable improvements in content engagement, delivery speed, and internal process efficiency
