About the Role:

As a Content Marketing Manager, you'll be a key storyteller for Genius Sports, crafting compelling narratives that showcase the value and impact of our fan engagement products. You'll collaborate closely with the Marketing Director to develop and execute a content strategy that drives adoption, strengthens our brand, and positions us as a thought leader in the sports technology space. You'll create engaging content that resonates with our audience across various channels, playing a vital role in the success of FanHub, Augmented Ads, and Free-to-Play. This role is perfect for someone with a love for sports, a knack for clear and persuasive writing, and a desire to contribute to the exciting evolution of fan experiences.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director: Work closely with the Marketing Director to develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy and roadmap that aligns with Genius Sports' business goals and supports the growth of FanHub, Augmented Ads, and Free-to-Play.
  • Content Creation: Own content creation for distribution across all channels, including blog posts, articles, case studies, white papers, website copy, social media content, email newsletters, webinars/virtual events, and sales collateral. Re-purpose and adapt content to extend the impact of each story.
  • Editorial Calendar: Design and execute an editorial calendar that balances thought leadership, product marketing, and SEO objectives, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality content.
  • Content Repository Management: Organize and maintain our content repository, ensuring materials stay current and aligned with product evolution.
  • Voice & Tone: Fine-tune Genius Sports' voice and tone, ensuring that it resonates with our ideal customer profiles and maintains a consistent brand identity.
  • Sales Enablement: Support in the content creation of sales enablement content, such as presentations, brochures, and one-pagers, that helps our sales team tell compelling stories about fan engagement challenges and solutions.
  • Customer Success Stories: Support in the development case studies and customer hero pieces that highlight customer use cases, wins, and ROI, showcasing the real-world impact of FanHub, Augmented Ads, and Free-to-Play.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Manage analytics and reporting initiatives for content, tracking and optimizing key content marketing KPIs to measure the effectiveness of content efforts.

Skills You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, with at least 2 years specifically in adtech.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and best practices.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and social media management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for sports (though you don't need to be a die-hard fan!).
  • Bonus Opportunity: If you enjoy event management, you can travel internationally and domestically for significant events.

What’s in it for you? 

The salary for this role is based on an annualized salary of up to $90000 to $110000 per annum depending on relevant experience. This role will also be eligible to take part in Genius Sports Group's benefits plan. 

 As well as a competitive salary and annual leave allowance, our benefits include health insurance, skills training and much more, depending on the location. We also offer a host of softer benefits, including many social events throughout the year such as summer and winter holiday parties, monthly team building events, sports tournaments, charity days and wellbeing activities.
