We’re looking for an exceptional content marketing manager to lead and execute our content marketing function. This is an opportunity to build and own TabaPay’s content strategy from the ground up. In this role you will be responsible for developing a content strategy and calendar as well as writing engaging and thoughtful content for various channels. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand, educating our audience, and driving growth for our business.

What You'll Do:

  • Developing and executing a content strategy that aligns with our marketing and business goals, tailoring messaging and content to business and technical audiences.
  • Owning and refining the content calendar to deliver consistent, impactful content through various channels, including social media, blog, website, and sales.
  • Creating high-quality content by partnering with product, engineering, leadership, and others to develop content (blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, social media content, and more) that educates audiences and positions TabaPay as a leader in payments.
  • Driving measurable impact by analyzing content performance metrics and leveraging data-driven insights to refine strategy and improve engagement, lead generation, and audience growth.
  • Brand voice development by defining and documenting voice and tone to be used through all content and communications
  • Supporting marketing and sales initiatives by providing concise, well written copy and content for website, sales proposals and presentations as needed. 

Who You Are:

  • Content strategy: 6+ years of experience in content marketing, with a focus on strategy and execution.
  • Writing ability: Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a proven track record of published work (to help us better understand your expertise and style, we kindly ask that you include your portfolio with your application).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Storytelling: Ability to distill complex topics into approachable, engaging content for a business audience. Experience with various mediums and content types, including long-form content, copywriting, social media posts, and more. 
  • Experience working with designers to create content that is visually compelling and aligned with brand standards.
  • Analytical and Data driven: Strong understanding of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques. Demonstrated success in applying data and insights to improve content performance.
  • Self-starter: comfortable in a startup environment and taking ownership of initiatives.

Preferred Experience: 

  • Experience in payments, fintech, or a fast-paced BaaS brand with a particular focus on banking.
  • Experience with video production - writing scripts, video editing. 
  • Experience working with Content Management Systems.
  • Experience in startups

The base pay for this position is $120,000 - $130,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This position is located in Palo Alto, CA and will require in office attendance 2x a week.
