About the Role

Based in London, Zurich, or New York, 21Shares is looking to hire a Head of Content, reporting to Chris Wright, Global Head of Marketing. With a team of 5 across design and copywriting, you will lead content strategy and ensure consistency and quality across many different channels. As a strong storyteller from white papers to blog posts, able to synthesize many inputs to craft a thoughtful and consistent narrative, she/he will thrive in a fast-paced environment using first class organizational skills to align stakeholders and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the team to obtain an in-depth understanding of the company, products, and customers to then be in a position to drive and develop the messaging and content needed to engage, inform, and convert clients, as well as grow the 21Shares brand globally.
• Guide the creation of clear, consistent, and compelling content across all communication channels, including email, website, blog, social media, and optimizing content for different audiences
• Create and own the editorial calendar
• Partner cross-functionally, including marketing, research, product, and sales, to execute a buyer’s journey-based content plan with the goal of onboarding customers deeper into the 21Shares pipeline
• Define & track content KPIs to refine the execution of content strategy and demonstrate data-driven optimization strategies
• Manage creative and copywriters to help execute the content strategy

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant financial  industry experience in a similar role
• Proven track record developing and directing influential global branding and communication plans
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with ability to understand building blocks of strong content and apply those principles across multiple mediums
• Self-starter, able to prioritize work within a complex and fast-paced environment
• Ideally a strong interest or experience in crypto, as well as ETPs and traditional finance
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, to navigate/coordinate with various groups within the organization

This role is based in New York, and will be expected to work from either our New York office in a hybrid model Monday - Wednesday.

Pursuant to Section 8-102 of title 8 of the New York City administrative code, the base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $180,000. Total compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
