How you will impact the organization…

The Content and Communications Manager will support the creation of content to drive marketing programs in a variety of industries and business verticals. This individual will work closely with the product marketing team, sales teams, demand gen team, and other key stakeholder groups to expand our company’s digital footprint, and support programs that build brand awareness, engagement, and enhance the positioning of the company. Reporting to the Director, Content & Communications Strategy, the successful candidate is team oriented and capable of developing and executing comprehensive content and communication strategies that enhance brand awareness, build positive public relations, and support corporate initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent written and communication skills, a strong understanding of PR, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

  • Coordinate with internal leadership, external stakeholders, agencies, and content writers to maintain a content calendar that supports company goals, campaign objectives, and timely delivery 
  • Assist in the coordination and development of press releases, media advisories, speaking proposals, award submissions, and other PR initiatives 
  • Monitor media coverage and analyze the effectiveness of our PR and thought leadership programs 
  • Develop and recommend a well defined content distribution strategy that maximizes the performance of our content and PR campaigns, boosts brand awareness, generates leads, engages customers, and supports marketing goals
  • Edit and produce high-quality content, including blog posts, articles, newsletters, white papers, infographics, videos, and social media posts, ensuring accuracy and consistency in brand voice, messaging, and corporate identity 
  • Manage content repositories, resource libraries, and consistently audit and maintain version control on all assets being used company-wide 
  • Analyze content performance through metrics, reporting, and analytics tools, and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize content strategy and effectiveness
  • Partner with product, product marketing, marketing, and sales teams to understand and develop effective messaging across all channels
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to understand market research, identify industry trends and content gaps, and leverage these findings to enhance the content marketing strategy
  • Source and manage freelance writers, agencies, and vendors as needed
  • Track and analyze competitor content and PR initiatives
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested. Consensus reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.


What you will bring to the table…

  • 3+ years of experience in a Content & Communications role ideally in B2B technology or healthcare 
  • 1+ years of experience using BusinessWire, Cision, or similar tools
  • 1+ years of experience using Hushly, Highspot, or other content management platforms 
  • Familiarity with Word, Excel, GoogleDocs, GoogleSheets, Google Meet, Teams, Zoom, etc.
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills 
  • Ability to effectively adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong communication skills including ability to clearly communicate ideas and concepts to a varied audience, using a high level of professionalism 
  • Exceptional time management, organizational & prioritization skills
  • Superb attention to detail
  • A strong team player with a collaborative mindset
  • Expertise in crafting clear, concise, and engaging content for various platforms
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills
  • Ability to adapt writing style to different audiences and brand voices
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize as needed
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail 
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools to track and measure program effectiveness 


You will stand out if you also have…

  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and other analysis tools a plus
  • Experience with Oktopost or other social media management platforms a plus


Additional details…

  • Location requirements: Hybrid role in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, or Dallas.
  • Travel requirements: Up to 10% travel. 
  • Physical requirements: Must be able to sit for long periods, as well as, handle long periods of screen time.
  • Technology requirements: Reliable, high speed internet
  • Eligible for sponsorship: No 

The salary range for this role is $85,000- $100,000 USD annually.  The total compensation package for this position is negotiable and may also include annual performance bonus, ESPP, enhanced time off packages and benefits. This job doesn't have an expiration date and will remain open until a qualified candidate is hired.
