Consulting & mobility projects Assistant Manager
The Mobility Consulting and Project Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating mobility studies in Mexico, working closely with public transportation operators, local authorities, and private companies to develop sustainable and successful mobility projects. This role is key to ensuring that the company's mobility projects are aligned with market needs, the availability of MBA products, local regulations (LGMYSV and PNTPCU and international best practices. It´s a key leader in the development and innovative mobility projects implementation for Daimler Buses México contributing to the company’s market leadership and generating new revenue streams. The position requires expertise in sustainable transportation, business development, and stakeholder engagement.
We are looking for: Consulting & mobility projects Assistant Manager
In this position, you will be in charge of:
- Lead the planning, execution and analysis of mobility studies in various regions of Mexico.
- Identify transportation and mobility needs in collaboration with public transportation operators, local governments and other key actors.
- Develop strategic recommendations based on the studies carried out.
- Collaborate with public and private companies in the design, implementation and monitoring of mobility projects.
- Ensure that projects are aligned with sustainability, efficiency and profitability objectives.
- Manage the complete project cycle, from conception to implementation and subsequent evaluation.
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with public transport operators, government authorities, private companies, and other interested parties.
- Participate in events, conferences, and meetings to promote the company's mobility initiatives.
- Always be in strict Alignment with current local and international applicable regulations, such as Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Daimler Truck Code of Conduct, as well as any other policy and procedure established for Daimler Truck.
Training:
- Engineering in urbanism, transportation business administration or similar.
- Master in Mobility or public transportation desired.
- Project management mandatory.
Specific knowledge:
- Experience in mobility studies and data analysis.
- Knowledge in urban mobility, public transportation and trends in the sector.
- Ability to manage simultaneous projects and coordinate multidisciplinary departments.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in projects management, mobility projects, experience in public transportation operation or similar roles.
Language: Fluent in English.
