The Impact of a Consultant - Supplier Services - Supplier Diversity at Coupa:

What You'll Do:

  • Leverage tools and techniques for effective service delivery to Coupa clients and, where the service requires, suppliers 
  • Work collaboratively with customer and supplier teams to drive the customer success strategies supported within the context of Supplier Diversity
  • Provide accurate and timely information to Coupa stakeholders regarding progress on project tasks. Also, where the service requires, provide service reports to the client in a timely manner with assured accuracy
  • Analyze data, create charts and graphs, produce reports, understand csv and xls, and execute filters, v-lookups, pivot tables, and duplicate highlight and removal
  • Collaborate with sales, product management and professional services where needed
  • Contribute to the success and growth of the Supplier Diversity Managed Services Team and Support Specialists from an operational and technical perspective
  • Support continuous improvement projects future service offerings within the Supplier Diversity Services team
  • Be a highly proficient source of truth for data stewardship and reporting capabilities across multiple platforms

What You Will Bring to Coupa:

  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years in customer relationship management, software solution management, and/or supplier diversity
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or Information Systems
  • Relationship - Ability to create, develop and maintain relationships with our clients' operational teams
  • Expectation Management - Ability to manage client and internal stakeholder expectations
  • Excel - Ability to analyze data, create charts and graphs, produce reports, understand csv and xls, and execute filters, v-lookups, pivot tables, and duplicate highlight and removal
  • Communication Skills - Professional writing skills, verbal skills and experience presenting to clients of all levels. Ability to articulate clearly and explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Time Management & Organization - Effective time management and organization skills, demonstrating the ability to meet deadlines and deliver at a high level
  • Team Skills - Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across Coupa organizations and client teams
  • Travel - Must be willing to travel domestically in the United States (light:1-5 times per year)

Preferred But Not Mandatory:

  • BSM Knowledge - Business Spend Management knowledge (i.e. sourcing, procurement, invoicing, etc.), depth and breadth of understanding of Coupa BSM solutions
  • Procurement Knowledge -- Knowledge of how a customer uses the BSM capabilities within Procurement processes and in general how procurement groups are organized (roles, responsibilities, etc.).
  • Consulting Process - Ability to engage as consultant to drive to desired customer outcomes. Experience applying consulting methodologies or processes is a plus
  • Language Skills - Ability to operate effectively in a global context. Multi-lingual candidates are encouraged
