Job Description

Reporting to our Commercial Director also based in Kyiv, the Consultant, FMCG is responsible for supporting and advising our YouGov CP Ukraine FMCG client base as well as carrying out analysis and projects. The Consultant, FMCG will focus on consulting based on a combination of Consumer Panel and adhoc Market Research, in order to develop individual insights for our customers. The Consultant, FMCG will collaborate closely with other UKR colleagues to support local clients in the FMCG sector and continuously work with clients to develop lasting strategies based on Market Research insights to improve client's shopper sales & marketing strategies. The Consultant, FMCG will undertake project management and customer-oriented analysis of data/insights in order to derive conclusions and recommendations for the clients. The Consultant, FMCG uses their strong analytical skills and sound understanding of the market research industry & FMCG sector to identify client value and help to develop proposals for new solutions and revenues with both existing & new accounts.

This vacancy would suit a recent graduate or early career professional who has studied economics/social sciences or similar, ideally with a focus on market research or marketing who is seeking a client focused role within a consulting company.

You Will:

  • Partner in strategic consulting for FMCG & Retail Clients

  • Maintain and develop cooperation with key customers and partners

  • Contribute to presentation development and attend meetings with customers and partners

  • Ensure exceptionally high level of service

  • Enable fulfilment of day-to-day partners' requests

  • Provide sales data analysis for key customers

  • Enable new revenue streams from existing and new accounts

You Have:

  • Economics/social sciences or similar relevant studies, ideally with a focus on market research or marketing

  • +1 years of professional experience in market research, FCMG category management, marketing/sales or consulting

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Sound presentation and communication skills

  • Ability to work in a team and strong networking skills (network building and active maintenance, both externally and internally)

  • Sound project management expertise

  • Experience with (consumer) panel data and in ad hoc research (qualitative/quantitative) is desirable

  • Very good PC user knowledge (especially MS Office applications, especially Powerpoint and Excel)

  • Knowledge of Ukrainian at native level and good knowledge of English language

This is a full time hybrid working role based in Kyiv office (x2 or 3 days in office per week).
