About This Role:

Crusoe is at the forefront of expanding hyperscale AI data center infrastructure and is actively doing so in Abilene, Texas and beyond. We have an opportunity for motivated construction professionals to be at the forefront of leading generational construction projects that will support our country’s efforts to remain the global leader in AI technology.

As aConstruction Manager (QA/QC) at Crusoe, you will act as the guardian of quality throughout the construction process. You will oversee all quality assurance and quality control aspects of our projects, ensuring adherence to established standards, building codes, client specifications, and industry regulations. As a key leader within the organization, you will ensure the successful delivery of multiple complex projects—on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What You’ll Be Working On:

  • Quality Management: Develop and implement quality management plans, including outlining inspection procedures, testing requirements, and documentation protocols for each project.

  • Inspections: Regularly inspect construction activities, materials, and workmanship to identify deviations from quality standards, document findings, and initiate corrective actions.

  • Material Testing: Oversee material testing and verification, ensuring compliance with project specifications through testing such as concrete strength tests, soil analysis, and structural steel inspections.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive quality improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance quality processes, implement continuous improvement strategies, and promote best practices.

  • Project Leadership: Lead complex, hyperscale AI Data Center construction projects.

  • Travel: Travel as needed (up to 30%) to oversee multiple project sites.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • Construction Expertise: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, building codes, and quality standards.

  • Quality Management Systems (QMS) Proficiency: Proficient in QMS, including quality control methodologies and documentation practices.

  • Leadership & Communication Skills: Excel in leadership and communication, effectively managing teams and engaging stakeholders.

  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Possess strong problem-solving skills and can efficiently troubleshoot and implement corrective actions.

  • Passion for Mission: Excited about contributing to a mission-driven company at the forefront of sustainable, AI-first cloud infrastructure and want to be part of an innovative, fast-moving team.

Compensation:

Compensation will be paid in the range of $200,000 - $300,000 base salary. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation is determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
