We are looking for a Consent Data Solution Leader with experience in providing data service support to customers / clients. This role will play an integral part in driving privacy and consent best practices to enable better customer engagement and improving overall data capabilities. This leader will partner and collaborate with legal teams, digital teams and data practitioners from our client's customers and data engineering staff at our client.

The Consent Data Solution Leader will lead a team of privacy platform developers, Data Engineers and Data Analysts supporting approximately 30 of our client's customers. Support will be provided to help our client's customers improve their overall privacy management with particular emphasis on consent and privacy processes, data quality, identity and data governance. The team will closely with our client's legal and privacy teams to turn policy into actionable work plans, and their data engineering organization to leverage capabilities of an innovative data environment to support customers

You demonstrate an established background in data and data privacy, consent management, good technical depth, excellent product/project management skills, superb communication and partner management skills, and the motivation to deliver tangible results in a dynamic environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide guidance and leadership to teams of developers, relationship specialists, privacy and consent experts, analysts, and engineers to execute a data and analytics strategy while ensuring optimal resource allocation to deliver the highest return.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and business partners, using data tools and capabilities to deliver superior service and advance the Data & Analytics Road Map.
  • Work in an agile environment, continuously reviewing business needs, prioritizing and maintaining the backlog, refining roadmaps, planning sprints and finding opportunities and risks.
  • Provide hands-on leadership in facilitating design sessions and drive decision making while balancing short-term benefits vs. long-term strategic outlook.
  • Build a culture of continuous learning. Assign tasks based on skills, strength and the learning & development needs of team members.
  • Attract and cultivate talent, mentor and develop a world-class consent management team.
  • Advocate for the highest standards of technical and operational excellence. Ensure we’re building highly scalable and repeatable capabilities in the best manner possible.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in a product owner, delivery lead or team lead capacity.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in data services support; leading the development of data products, cloud data platforms, data lakes or data warehouses.
  • 5+ years experience working at the intersection of privacy, consent, data subject rights and data management, including experience using a third-party privacy and consent platform. OneTrust experience is preferred.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, AWS preferred. Understanding of Snowflake platform a plus.
  • Data governance, data access metadata management experience (standards, format, definition, structure, tagging, transmission, manipulation, use and management of data).
  • Solid attention to detail and superb communication skills up and down an organization.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate closely with all levels across the organization, influencing outcomes where you do not have direct control.
  • A team player and self-starter.

Travel

This role is primarily remote with potential for travel to customer locations 4-6 times per year.
