The Leidos team has an opening for a Configuration Manager to work on a cloud integration and sustainment program that is involved in the deployment and maintenance of multiple operational cloud deployed Aeronautical solutions. A successful candidate will have experience with Agile methodologies as well as the ability to participate in release planning events, daily scrums, and other technical discussions as needed. This role will support all activities owned by the CM team including documentation, software management, architecture diagrams, cloud cost control methodologies and reporting, and other projects while requiring significant collaboration with other teams, program management, and customer stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Understanding of the requirements gathering process and how to onboard new customers or functionality.
- Work with customer teams to acquire, track and manage software.
- Review deployments for each Sprint with a focus on newly implemented features.
- Aid in the creation of documentation and processes to increase the quality of the systems in a repeatable manner.
- Review customer feedback and update documents/checklists to ensure errors are not repeated.
- Update systems engineering artifacts including but not limited to: ConOps, Requirements Analysis, User Guides, and System View & Architecture Diagrams
- Development and maintenance of program architectural diagrams
- Ability to monitor and manage cloud costs across several environments and dozens of systems.
- Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Can plan and prioritize work. Follows tasks to their logical conclusion and makes sure that everything has been done to the right standard. Good attention to detail.
- Communications: Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently to team members and clients, verbally and in writing. Able to present ideas in a variety of ways depending upon audience and context.
Basic Qualifications:
- Requires BS degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience OR 4 years of direct Customer experience in lieu of degree
- Must have an active Top Secret clearance, with ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Polygraph post hire to meet customer requirements.
- Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Significant experience as a Systems Engineer and/or Configuration Manager using tools such as Git, Jenkins and Nexus as well configuration management databases
- Proven experience managing multiple baselines across multiple environments
- Demonstrated understanding of AWS/Cloud technologies
- Experience with Agile/SAFe development methodologies
- Experience with team collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, RocketChat)
- Creation of Version Description Documents (VDDs)
- Experience with Technical Writing including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), User Guides, Training material, etc…
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within the Aeronautical Domain; former Pilots, Air Traffic Controllers, Military experience is a plus.
- Experience acquiring software and associated management of licenses
- Experience optimizing AWS capabilities balancing Cost and Performance
- Experience establishing or significantly improving an existing CM system and process
- Experience leading Change Management Teams
- Experience improving and auditing deployment processes
- Understand CM / SE process for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life
- Experience with Government processes and procedures including SWAP, SWIDs, and other CM taskings.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Pay Range:Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
