If you are looking for a challenging opportunity that allows you to develop and learn in a stable and growing organization…come joins us as a Configuration Management Specialist at Horizon.  Horizon Industries Limited (Horizon) is a dynamic IT and Management Consulting firm based in the Washington, DC area and we are currently seeking a Configuration Management Specialist for a full-time position remotely supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).

Required Experience :

  • Five (5) years of experience in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems/Technology). 
  • Establishes and/or maintains a system to record modifications to hardware, software, or documentation.
  • Maintains allocated, functional, and physical baseline control and ability to perform audit support.
  • Assists with the review of engineering change requests to assess impact upon configuration baseline and logistics support elements.4
  • Maintains configuration control records and technical documents.
  • Works closely with quality assurance and management representatives to ensure accurate and well-documented product baseline.
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.

Position Sensitivity : 

  • Non-Critical Sensitive (Formerly IT-II or IT-2)
  • Investigation Requirements: Must possess a favorable Tier 3 (T3) NACLC/ANACI at time of proposal submission.

Location : Remote 

Salary range : 100K - $110K.
