LOCATION DETAILS 2525 Midpoint Dr, Edwardsville, KS 66111

WORK HOURS Monday – Friday, 7am - 3pm 

Full Time Team members work 8-hour shifts for 40 hours per week. Shift times may vary, and extra hours may be added to your schedule to ensure we fulfill our commitments to customers.

This is a Seasonal position until mid-June with potential to convert to a full-time regular position based on attendance, productivity and availability of positions.

Peak Season (January - June) Requirements

Mandatory overtime may include some Saturdays and Sundays.

Varsity Spirit, A Varsity Achievement Brand, is looking to hire a Seasonal E-Design Checker.  As a member of the Varsity Yearbook Kansas City Yearbook team, you will be responsible for:

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Reviewing the page via computer screen yearbook page layouts.
  • You will be responsible for the quality of those layouts before the book printing process occurs.
  • Ensure quality by identifying errors on new and corrected yearbook pages.
  • Examine the quality of book pages submitted as PDFs.
  • Check for common page design errors.
  • Check for errors generated by production processes.
  • Initiate production hold on pages where errors are detected.
  • Make requested corrections to resolve production holds.

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of basic file retrieval and computer mouse navigation.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to work all hours as needed including overtime and weekends.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Previous success maintaining a strong attendance and on time record
