We are looking for a proactive, driven and helpful colleague to our great team of currently 3 dedicated employees, where you will report to Head of Group Financial Risk & Controls. As Compliance Manager you will contribute to strengthen our financial control environment by securing the use of financial controls additionally you will be supporting and ensuring compliance towards external audits throughout the global FLSmidth organization. In a role with major freedom and influence you will be travelling and interacting with key business stakeholders in Group Management, Audit Committee, Operational, Business and Specialized Finance together with various other Group functions.
Your responsibilities

Risk & control advising in financial processes such as record to report, procure to pay and order to cash in a project driven global organization

Support design and development of risk-based controls to safeguard finance business processes by improvement initiatives to the control environment

Plan, conduct and report on process & control audits including development and follow up on improvement plans in FLSmidth’s entities worldwide

Support external audit planning globally by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clarity of process ownership and alignment of audit materials
What you bring
-
In-depth knowledge of financial reporting in a global finance organization, overall accounting and auditing processes – 3 years of experience or more

Proven experience with design and implementation of financial controls or experience with managing and conducting external audits

Good communicator, proactive, persistent and with the ability to work independently

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

Thriving by facilitation of improvements, changes and supporting smooth processes

High knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and comfortable managing large data sets in Excel

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in auditing or similar
-
Background within external/internal audit, financial controlling or finance management, statutory reporting etc.

Fluent in English, international mindset and a like for travelling
