Job Description Summary
We are seeking a Compliance Officer to ensure regulatory adherence and strengthen our compliance framework. The role involves collaborating with business leaders on compliance goals, providing ongoing support, and keeping all relevant rules up-to-date. Key responsibilities include disseminating compliance information, conducting training sessions, offering pre-approval and advice to MRs and sales teams, monitoring compliance status, and investigating violations. Additionally, you will propose improvements to the compliance framework and work with team members to maintain an efficient and collaborative work environment. Strong knowledge of compliance laws, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities are essential for this role.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Set Compliance Goals and Provide Support
Collaborate with business leaders to agree on compliance objectives and strategies, providing continuous support to ensure their implementation.
2. Understand and Manage Rules and Updates
Maintain a professional understanding of all relevant regulations and industry standards, ensuring timely updates and integration into the business.
3. Disseminate Compliance Information
Regularly communicate compliance-related information and key points through internal tools such as intranet platforms and newsletters.
4. Conduct Compliance Training
Organize and deliver introductory and ongoing compliance training to business units, promoting understanding and awareness across the organization.
5. Provide Pre-Approval and Advice
Offer pre-approval and individual advice to MRs and other sales teams on compliance matters related to their activities.
6. Monitor Compliance Adherence
Regularly monitor the compliance status within business units and take appropriate actions to ensure compliance.
7. Investigate Violations and Consider Actions
Conduct investigations into compliance violations and consider appropriate measures, including disciplinary actions and corrective steps.
8. Review and Improve the Compliance Framework
Periodically review the current compliance framework and propose necessary improvements to enhance its effectiveness.
9. Promote a Collaborative and Efficient Work Environment
