This role supports the Regional Enterprise Risk Management Team in the area of Risk Management and Compliance, and reports to the Regional Risk Manager.

Your New Role:

  • Provide overall direction, coordination, execution, control and completion of assigned projects.
  • Lead in co-ordination of group level policies and procedures and work with local country compliance team to implement accordingly.  
  • Assist in the implementation of compliance risk management framework and strategy and compliance processes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the team's achievement of KPIs and implement the Performance Management Process.
  • Identify and escalate non-compliance issues to management and Board to the organisation's. 
  • Develop training and support materials.
  • Ensure strong control design and performance.
  • Contribute to recommendations on process, product, and service improvements to enhance Compliance. 
  • Review changes to compliance legislation to ensure compliance.
  • Coach and mentor team members and act as a point of referral for complex queries.
  • Participate in group wide working groups to align Asia with Group process and procedures. 

About You:

  • Significant experience in overseeing compliance and/or risk management in a corporate environment.
  • Possession of internal audit skills or relevant experience in risk management and compliance.
  • General insurance experience in dispute resolution, risk management, or compliance-related roles.
  • Previous project management experience.
  • Demonstrated capability in complex and challenging environments.
  • Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
