Work Flexibility: Hybrid
As Compliance Analyst you will work across the European and EEMEA business, you will be responsible for supporting the Finance teams by providing updates on policy changes, managing the audit board, and working with different stakeholders across the finance organization, as Local Finance Teams, FP&A and Polish Finance Center
What you will do
- Own the Audit board SOX controls system, you will become the point of contact for the Local SOX controls, by ensuring these are properly created in the system following and setting up where necessary DOA, archive the SOX controls and follow up, if necessary, with the Compliance Controller, and local finance teams to ensure compliance and completeness
- Support during the Statutory audit and coordinate together with the team on the follow ups to ensure audits are completed on time and with minimal or no scalations
- Project management for Statutory Audit and point of contact for the external and internal auditors
- Support the communication and training schedule created to keep the teams informed of any policies updates
- Finance Policies communication
- Be an active member of the Finance Compliance champions
- Support the Financial Compliance activities within the regions (RCM, Control Catalogue, Narratives, Local Policies)
- Support the SOD local conflict review and approval where necessary
- Participate in projects driving process improvements that require financial compliance input
Your profile:
- +3 years’ experience in a finance function in a matrix international company (preferably US or Multinational company)
- Fluent in English
- Familiar with USGAAP, Sarbanes Oxley Act and Technical Accounting expert
- Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and multi-task
- Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and ability to communicate complicated issues effectively
- Public Accounting Experience a plus
- High level of honesty, integrity, commitment and responsibility.
- Accustomed to working under pressure and with deadlines.
- Able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
