Job Description

CFO & Procurement Technology is part of the Corporate Product Technology cluster, within Digital Technology, where we build the backbone of our corporate services – making internal operations at the LEGO Group run efficiently in areas like Corporate Finance, Tax, Legal and Procurement.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support and develop software engineers through regular coaching, mentoring sessions and providing continuous feedback

  • Own the hiring, onboarding and retention of diverse and gifted software engineers together with senior engineering management and the recruiting team

  • Work with Lead Engineers and architects to provide technical leadership within product domains and support the timely delivery of technical solutions

  • Establish and advocate the best quality engineering practices across the organization together with other engineering managers

  • Be an active contributor to the Technology leadership team and a role model for the LEGO Group ways of working and principles

  • Drives difficult and occasionally also complex issues and tasks within the product teams

You will play a key role as Competence Lead, driving both people management, workforce management and helping set the direction on the sub-areas related to Enterprise Performance Management and Business Process Automation/RPA.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Previous experience of leading the performance and development of high-performing software engineers and configurators at mid and senior level

  • From a professional background, you are a technical, hands-on engineer with a good understanding of programming and script language eg. Python, C#, SQL and VBA skills

  • Passion to drive technology, through technical leadership on engineering and architectural practices and standards

  • Experience with leading agile teams and agile development

  • Strong Collaboration and Leadership Skills

  • Experience with OneStream and or BluePrism

  • Experience with Cloud Computing

  • Experience with test automation

  • Experience in servant leadership in a global organization

  • Domain knowledge within finance processes

Advanced English both written and verbal would be ideal as we are an internationally gathered team.
