Job Description:

The Compensation Analyst will focus on the planning, administration, and implementation of job evaluation, wage, and salary programs while also assisting with payroll processing. This position may be based out of Wilkes-Barre, PA, Philadelphia, PA, or Parsippany, NJ.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Researching compensation policies and plans to ensure the organization’s offerings are current, cost-effective, and competitive.
  • Conducting data and cost analyses to compare compensation plans.
  • Evaluating position descriptions to determine classification and salary recommendations.
  • Performing market survey research to analyze compensation trends and conducting equity studies.
  • Collaborating with the Head of HR and department supervisors to perform job evaluations.
  • Designing and preparing reports summarizing research and analysis, then presenting recommendations to HR leadership and executives.
  • Ensuring that the organization’s pay practices comply with federal and state laws and regulations, including workers’ compensation, minimum wage, overtime, and equal pay laws.
  • Reviewing, analyzing, and verifying payroll reports and documents for accuracy.

Preferred Knowledge & Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in compensation and payroll processing is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience providing compliance, policy, and procedural support in a corporate setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, is required.
  • The successful candidate is expected to work in one of our offices at least 3 days per week.
