The Communications Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for writing and creating global communication in support of HR programs, community engagement efforts, and Chaska-based teams. You’ll strengthen Beckman Coulter’s culture of volunteering and giving back to the communities where our team members live and work.  

 

This position is part of the Global Communications team and will be on-site in Chaska, Minnesota. You will report to the Director of Global Communications responsible for bringing Beckman Coulter’s business strategy to life in support of our mission to Relentlessly Reimagine Healthcare, One Diagnosis at a Time. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Develop strategic internal communication plans. 

  • Deliver timely communication to inform and engage associates. 

  • Collaborate with leaders and experts to craft high-impact communications. 

  • Identify innovative solutions to complex communication challenges. 

  • Influence others and communicate challenging concepts effectively. 

 

The essential requirements of the job include:  

  • Bachelor's degree in field with 9+ years of experience or Master's degree with 7+ years of experience. 

  • Experience developing communications programs that engage and motivate associates. 

  • Global project management expertise and a familiarity working with multiple lines of business and a diverse workforce. 

  • Expert writing, editing and presentation skills with strong attention to detail. 

  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically; with urgency and enthusiasm. 

 

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:  

  • This role requires up to 25% travel within the U.S. and international. Therefore, you should be within commuting distance of the Chaska area and Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport.  

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record 

  • Fluency in English is required, although it does not need to be your native language. 

  • While the position will primarily operate within working hours of the U.S. Central Time Zone, flexibility will be necessary to accommodate operations across different time zones. 

 

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: 

  • Internal corporate communications, ideally within the healthcare or diagnostics industry.  

 

The salary range for this role is $125,000 - $140,000 This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. 

 

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
