We are looking for a Communications Trainee to support internal and external communications in Stora Enso’s Forest division for a fixed term of four to six months during March-September. If you are an enthusiastic and energetic person who is eager to learn about forestry and aim for a career in communications this might be your chance. In this role, you will be part of the Forest division Communications and Marketing team, reporting to the SVP, Communications and Marketing. The position is based in Helsinki.

As a Communications Trainee you will plan, produce and edit engaging content (articles, presentations, videos, newsletters) for internal and external audiences in English and in Finnish. You will also publish articles and other content in our internal and external channels (WeShare intranet, website, social media), and support organizing internal and external events.

Who are we looking for? 

 
We are looking for a student or recently graduated person with studies in communications, marketing, forestry or another relevant field. You are a creative and results oriented team player with a hands-on approach to work.  

 

Additional qualifications include: 

 

  • Good communication skills both in writing and verbally 

  • Fluent in English and Finnish, Swedish is considered a plus 

  • Sound digital capabilities including Microsoft Office tools, social media platforms and other digital tools such as Photoshop, Sharepoint, and Sitecore 

  • Experience in similar roles is also beneficial
