Work with Project Manager as part of a project management team in ensuring successful implementation of Long-Term Operation and Maintenance projects with focus on customer satisfaction and improved profitability

What You Need To Make a Difference

  • Commercial responsibility for a range of Service Operation and Maintenance Contracts located across Australia and New Zealand reporting to AU NZ Hub Commercial Project Manager Lead.

  • Actively support Project Manager in solving project related topics and implement measures identified during project review

  • Ensures all related Project Reporting and Cost Controlling activities are accurate and effective in compliance with Siemens Gamesa Financial Reporting Guidelines and local GAAP requirements.

  • Ensure up-to-date project financial data, improve forecast quality and actively drive measures to achieve Financial Year target

  • Together with the Project Manager, actively search for opportunities and measures which lead to project margin improvement

  • Ensure performance follows contractual commitment with customers

  • Evaluate continuously project related risks while ensuring project contingencies are adequately provided to safeguard the projects sustainability

  • Ensure transparency in project related non-conformance cost (NCC) reporting

  • Actively communicate and follow up with customer to ensure invoices are paid on time.

  • Prepare incentive and escalation calculation in line with contractual requirements.

  • Actively involved in forecast and budget preparation

  • Ensure project FX risk is managed with the support of Treasury FX team

  • Provide project transparency status during project review

  • Support corporate finance during annual audit

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in Business, Commerce, Accounting or Economics

  • More than 5 years working experience in long term project management including contract management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost controlling.

  • Sound understanding of Project Management methodology and SAP

  • Have good working knowledge in POC accounting

  • Strong analytical and communication skills
