What You'll Do for Us:
- Creating data mining architectures, models, protocols, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify trends in large data sets.
- Managing functional or operational areas, processes, or programs, including project or process management.
- Lead a team, setting goals and objectives for operational results, making improvements or recommended enhancements of processes, systems, or products to enhance performance.
- Solving problems through drawing from prior experience and analysis and interpretation of internal or external issues to come up with recommendations/best practices.
- Explaining facts, policies, practices, and procedures of the job area to others within and outside of the organization.
- Justifying and gaining cooperation of other parties on practices, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Data Analytics
- 7+ years experience in creating data mining architectures, models, protocols, and statistical reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in managing functional or operational areas, processes, or programs.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and guide professional level employees, with a focus on setting and achieving operational goals.
- Proven track record of making improvements or recommended enhancements of processes, systems, or products to enhance performance of the job area.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to draw from prior experience and analysis to come up with recommendations and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain facts, policies, practices, and procedures to others within and outside of the organization.
- Experience in justifying and gaining cooperation of other parties on practices, policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools and software.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL etc.), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks).
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
