Job Description
You will be supporting the Director Commercial Australia in driving hotel performance and achieving key commercial KPIs. Manage a portfolio of hotels, assist Operational leaders, and help develop commercial skills with our hotel teams. Lead hotel pre-opening projects in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Distribution, Revenue, and Communication teams. Analyse results, propose improvements, and ensure the effective use of Accor tools and processes.
This role is responsible for:
- Implementing the strategic direction from the Accor Pacific Office, MEA APAC, and Central Offices
- Support hotels in building robust budgets, creation of business and channel plans that drive above-market performance.
- Collaboration with Operational leaders and in hotel commercial teams to leverage and activate commercial initiatives
- Analyse commercial performance providing recommendations to enhance performance across a range of channels and systems
- Support training, coaching and talent development of hotel commercial teams
- Onboard new hotels and oversee development of appropriate commercial plans including pre-opening, and hotel business plans
- Support key supplier relationships, assist managing major precinct tenders, and support new business opportunities with existing and potential clients across the region.
- In depth market knowledge across geographies supporting properties to maximise commercial opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Business (preferred)
- 5+ years' experience in Revenue Management or senior Sales & Marketing role
- Knowledge of Hotel Operations and Distribution
- Knowledge of Accor systems and tools desirable
- Proficiency in reporting tools (Tableau) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint)
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively
