As an intern in Commercial Education & Training, you’ll be a valuable contributing member of the team developing a training course for our Commercial distributor audience. This involves using best practices to:

       Assess the scope of the training

       Work with subject matter experts to determine the content of the training

       Arrange the content of the training into the course

       Use a variety of e-learning and visual graphics platforms to create the course

       Determine the test questions for the course

       Assist the team in planning for the evaluation of the course
 

At the end of your internship, you will have a completed training course that is sure to educate learners well and make a difference. This course can be used in a portfolio as well (as long as proprietary/confidential information is removed), resulting in a great show-and-tell piece for your job interviews later!

 

What Do You Need? 

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements: 

·       Experience & Education: You should be actively pursuing a degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or related program

·       Technology Skills Example: Intermediate computer skills, experience with Articulate Rise or Articulate Storyline is a plus, experience with Camtasia/Photoshop or other video/graphics software is a plus

·        Performance Characteristics Example: Strong organizational and self-management skills with a high attention to detail, effective written and oral communication, creative systems-thinking approach to adult learning and education, ability to initiate and maintain collaborative relationship with stakeholders and subject matter experts

Summer Hours *Based on Location*– Enjoy a flexible schedule during the summer! By working a little more during the first few days of the week, TTC employees at certain locations are able to start their weekends early and leave by noon on Friday. 

Competitive Pay – anticipated pay $18-25.00 per hour.
