Job Description:
The Commercial Finance Analyst will support the commercial development of key business lines by providing detailed analytics and robust management information. You will work closely with Commercial Business Partners and the Senior Finance leadership team, fully engaging in budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes. Your collaborative approach will ensure effective knowledge transfer across the business.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide data and analysis to support month-end and quarter-end management and board presentations, working with finance management to determine variance drivers and future implications.

Lead on head office SG&A analysis and variance commentary to forecast, liaising with head office functions to analyse cost drivers and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Coordinate headcount forecasting and reporting, supporting the roll-out and maintenance of headcount reporting tools.

Plan and report on invested capital, liaising with business units to determine capital requirements and input into annual and quarterly forecasts.

Engage in short-term to mid-term cash flow and balance sheet planning, providing periodic reporting and analysis.

Act as a financial systems super-user, aiding in the testing, business roll-out, and continued support of financial reporting tools (SAP BPC, AFO, Power BI, Tableau).

Produce key KPI dashboards and manage forecast entries through liaison with appropriate business units.

Provide frequent operational reporting and ad-hoc analysis to support strategic and business requirements from regional and global management.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

Effective problem-solving and exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to communicate findings to both finance and non-finance employees.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships at all levels of the business.

Customer-focused, able to build positive rapport with internal and external customers.
