  • Craft a compelling value proposition that highlights Mr. Handyman's unique selling points, such as reliability, quality workmanship, and comprehensive service offerings. 
  • Collaborate with NSPs, senior services, manufacturers/distributors, interior designers, and property management firms. 
  • Develop targeted marketing campaigns to reach decision-makers in target markets. 
  • Incentivize existing commercial clients to refer new business. 
  • Identify potential commercial clients using various prospecting methods, such as online research, networking, and referrals. 
  • Qualify leads based on their needs and potential fit with Mr. Handyman's services. 
  • Develop effective sales presentations that showcase Mr. Handyman's capabilities and address the specific needs of potential clients. 
  • Negotiate contracts with commercial clients to ensure favorable terms and conditions. 
  • Manage contract execution, compliance and relationship. 
  • Provide franchisees with in-depth training on commercial sales techniques, industry trends, and project management. 
  • Provide support to staff to assist franchisees in developing and executing commercial sales strategies. 
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing among successful franchisees to identify effective commercial sales tactics 
  • Identify and develop specialized commercial services to meet the unique needs of specific market segments. 
  • Collaborate with complementary businesses, such as architects, interior designers, and property management firms, to cross-sell services. 
  • Offer additional value-added services, such as maintenance contracts, energy efficiency audits, and facility management. 
  • Develop targeted marketing campaigns specifically for commercial clients, highlighting Mr. Handyman's expertise and capabilities. 
  • Increase brand visibility in commercial markets through online advertising, public relations, and industry event sponsorships. 
  • Showcase successful commercial projects to demonstrate Mr. Handyman's ability to deliver high-quality results.
  • Perform other duties as required. These duties may include assignments in job classification other than their own.

Required Attributes: 

  • Leadership oriented personality to meet or exceed performance standards 
  • Clear and precise communicator both in written and verbal communication 
  • Ability to communicate Highly organized and detail-oriented. 
  • Self-starter. Ability to work autonomously with little support. 
  • High computer literacy including strong experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook is required. 
  • Ability to travel 10-20% amount of time
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. 
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. 
  • Sense of humor. 

Education & Experience: 

Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.

Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of proven sales success and business development
