Position Overview

This position is located in our Warsaw, Poland office and reports to the Sales Operations & Analytics Manager based in Switzerland. The Commercial & Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in assisting internal key stakeholders in understanding performance from both internal and external perspectives, utilizing various sources of information. The primary emphasis of the role is to work alongside the Sales Operations & Analytics Manager in enhancing sales productivity and excellence through analytical support for commercial reporting & planning, while providing support on SFE analysis, sales incentive compensation management and development of commercial excellence projects

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Cultivate and nurture robust relationships with affiliates to understand local market trends.
  • Provide support to local markets in preparing and updating business reviews decks.
  • Provide support in designing, developing, and maintaining local markets metrics and analysis to empower country leaders in making informed and strategic business planning decisions.
  • Manage and improve the sales incentive compensation process, in collaboration with Finance team
  • Analyze markets in respect to potential, customer basis and reimbursement status.
  • Provide and implement technical recommendations on the optimal utilization of business intelligence data, software, methods, and tools to enhance sales data and sales force effectiveness (SFE) analysis
  • Provide support in generating Test Pattern Analysis and Audit reports for accounts.
  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
  • Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, statistics, finance, or a related field as outlined in the essential duties plus 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Fluency in the English language (C1 or above per CEFR framework).
  • Highly analytical with the ability to work with large data sets and merge them.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work with country teams to understand market dynamics.
  • Ability to communicate and present insights to HQ Management
  • Advanced Excel knowledge (PivotTable, Power Pivot, Power Query, Vlookup, Xlookup, Index Match).
  • Experience of Business Intelligence software (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Ability to independently identify problems, propose solutions and execute on those solutions.
  • Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment.
  • Good organizational skills, including efficiency and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in business administration, statistics, finance, or relevant field as outlined in the essential duties.
  • 5 years of relevant work experience in commercial excellence, analytics/data analysis, business intelligence or related field.
  • Knowledge of SFDC (SalesForce.com) and Veeva
  • Experience working in IT related projects
  • Ability to develop macros.
  • Advanced knowledge of Tableau
  • Experience in the pharma industry and/or beauty & personal care industry.
  • Experience in molecular biology, genomics, translational science, and/or personalized medicine. 
  • Knowledge of other European languages (French, German, Italian, Polish, Spanish) and/or Japanese.
