All engineers and researchers are expected to have strong communication skills. They should be able to concisely and accurately share knowledge with their teammates.
In this role, you will:
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and licensing agreements largely with enterprise customers and partners
- Partner closely with technical and go-to-market teams
- Create processes for efficient and scalable contracting
- Ability and desire to be a swiss army knife: pitch in for anything needed in the legal department, even if it’s unfamiliar or not in your lane
- This is an in-person role based in San Francisco or Palo Alto, CA that requires up to 25% travel
Minimum qualifications:
- Have at least 6-10 years of combined legal experience at innovative technology companies and excellent law firms (startup experience a plus)
- Have in-house experience at a B2C company (B2B ok)
- Have a strong sense of ownership, are inquisitive and enthusiastic about technology, enjoy being continually challenged, and can demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous situations
- Have a lot of gas in the tank!
- Have a JD and license or qualification to practice in CA
- Based in the SF Bay Area, or can spend most weekdays there
Annual Salary Range
- $200,000 - $250,000 USD
