As Commercial Contracts Manager at PolyAI you will work closely with our sales team and our GC to drive forward our commercial contracting across the US as well as being a key contact point for our external Legal teams. You will also support on varied project work and help set priorities for our Executive team including CEO, GC, and CTO.
The key responsibilities for our Commercial Contracts Manager will be:
- Work directly with the General Counsel to grow the company, with a focus on building systems, policies, and processes to scale
- Being a trusted partner to the sales team drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, NDAs, and partnership agreements
- Supporting on our contract management system and commercial ecosystem projects, driving technology adoption and behavioural change across the organization
- Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through to successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and departmental heads
- Create alignment internally to ensure business processes are effective and scalable
- Experience working in tech or a growing start-up, with a self-starter and entrepreneurial mindset.
- A legal background is essential, 5+ years experience in the law, contracts management experience is sufficient without legal qualifications
- Comfortable handling high-pressure situations calmly and positively.
- A passion for legal technology and implementing tech driven process improvements
- Resolutely reliable, responsive, and thriving in a fast-paced startup environment with an openness to change course as needed
- Impeccable time and priority management, you know what needs to be done and people rely on you for your responsiveness on projects
- Proven experience managing a project from start to finish, involving multiple departments & senior stakeholders
- Self-aware, curious and constantly seeking excellence through learning and growth
- Highly organized and self-motivated with distinctive problem-solving capabilities
- Have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Solutions oriented and can resolve constructive conflicts with ease
- Analytical aptitude and experience with data analytics tools, modeling and reporting

Compensation: $10,000-$12,500 per month
