What We Offer
Major responsibilities:

Responsible for color matching process following specific instruction provided by Color Specialist/Expert or Colorist II, III in accordance to customer requirements.

Perform color corrections during color match process in order to meet color target as close as possible by visually and numerically with instruction and advice from Colorist II, III.

Responsible for small lot/sample production follow the process order schedule by Color Specialist/Expert.

Responsible for testing the mechanical properties of samples besides the visual assessment of the color follow the testing plan and able to color correction, formulation and process condition adjustment follow advice from Colorist II,III/Color specialist to ensure the material is in accordance to customer requirements and product specification.

Support on compounding any trial or special request plan by Color Specialist/Expert. Ensure safety operation and enforce that all people working at CDC are proper protected.

Ensure that assigned area of responsibility, equipment, materials are maintained with good housekeeping/Gen.S practices and conform to all appropriate environmental & health regulations.

This position operates Extruders, Molding, all other process equipment including packaging, color and optical measuring.
What You Offer
Qualifications:
-
Essential diploma degree or above in any related field eg. Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Polymer Science/processing, Color Science etc.

Any work experience is added advantage.

Essential Good color skill
-
Able to develop working relationships and have a service mind, effective communication skills both verbal and written.

Computer office program such as Excel, Word, Power point Desirable
-
Basic knowledge in all colorants used, means knowledge of spectra and sufficient experience to correct color based on those spectra and color data.
-
Basic knowledge of all PCS polymer recipes, additives and other raw materials with possible influence on color
-
Basic knowledge of extrusion and injection molding process
-
Basic Knowledge of Operation software - MES, Prokont, Colibri or other process control as added advantage.
