Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Bring a minimum of 5-7 years of advancing experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, and related accounting practices, preferably within a high-growth tech company.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of AR-related accounting principles, GAAP standards, and financial operations best practices.
  • Exhibit exceptional attention to detail with the capability to interpret the data. 
  • Display excellent communication skills; proven history of effectively engaging with stakeholders and clients.
  • Show strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word and Google Docs; experience with NetSuite, YayPay or similar, Salesforce. 

What you'll be doing:

  • Supervise and streamline payment applications, address billing inquiries, and execute strategic collection efforts to guarantee timely collections.
  • Maintain comprehensive metrics to track and report key Accounts Receivable and collections KPIs, providing valuable insights to internal stakeholders. Work closely with the Controller and FP&A team to develop monthly collection forecasts. 
  • Establish and manage the collection policy, including appropriate reminders, collections, and account deactivations, to enable consistent cash flow and minimize overdue accounts.
  • Oversee month-end close procedures, including: cash and AR reconciliations; AR aging analysis and assessment of bad debt reserves and write off recommendations. 
  • Lead evaluation of AR system needs and processes. Identify and implement automation initiatives to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Finance, Legal, Sales and Account Management and other key stakeholders. Act as a strategic business partner to support company-wide objectives.
  • Provide support during financial audit with AR and Collections requests. 

The base pay range for this position is $80,000- $105,000 which can include additional on-target bonus and/or incentives. The base pay offered may vary depending on location, job related knowledge, skills, and experience. Stock options and other incentive pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position ultimately offered.
