This role is responsible for overseeing the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Change Management processes to ensure IT infrastructure data accuracy and minimize risk during IT changes and own the Technology change risk and controls.

Principal Responsibilities:

CMDB Management:

  • Maintain the accuracy and completeness of CMDB data.
  • Develop and implement CMDB policies and procedures.
  • Standardize data collection and population methods for the CMDB.
  • Conduct regular CMDB audits and data cleansing activities.

Change Management:

  • Oversee the change management process according to defined ITIL or similar frameworks.
  • Assess the impact and risk of proposed changes.
  • Develop and implement change plans to minimize disruption.
  • Track and document the change approval process.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding changes.

Additional Duties:

  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure CMDB data reflects IT infrastructure reality.
  • Provide CMDB and change management process training to stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve CMDB and change management processes for efficiency and effectiveness. Manage technology change management risks, controls, and audit activities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent professional experience.
  • Customer service attitude and ability to work well with other groups.
  • Organized, reliable and meticulous.
  • 5+ years of experience leading change management
  • 5+ years IT service management
  • 5+ years CMDB administration
  • 5+ years experience with ServiceNow Change Management and CMDB module
  • Excellent understanding of IT infrastructure and operations
  • Familiarity with IT risk and controls management/governance

Compensation:  

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $180,000/year in our highest geographic market.  Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. 

Benefits Highlights:  

Employees who meet benefit eligibility guidelines and work 30 hours or more weekly, have the ability to enroll in Group 1001’s benefits package.
