Job Summary
The Cloud Technical Solutions Architect is a hands-on role that involves the design and implementation of cloud solutions, particularly focusing on the Azure platform. This position is critical for developing, testing, and maintaining Azure Landing Zones. The architect will work under the Cloud Architect Lead focusing more on technical execution.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Execute Azure cloud strategy, including developing, implementing, and overseeing Azure-based solutions. Responsible for Azure infrastructure projects, deploying cloud environments for hosting business application services.
- Work closely with application, network, and security teams to reflect requirements in the Azure design.
- Develop Proof of Concept (PoC) as required, providing expertise and leadership regarding solutions for infrastructure and applications in Azure.
- Demonstrate thought leadership in cloud computing and develop technical roadmaps for future Azure cloud implementations. Ensure security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions.

- Assist in project planning, aligning technical solutions with business objectives, and mitigating deviations to project plans.
- Follow standards and best practices laid out by the organization and promote the reuse of shared approaches.
Essential Skills
- Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification
- Proficiency in a wide range of Azure services for large-scale, highly-critical applications, including App Service, AKS, Azure SQL, CosmosDB, Functions, Logic Apps, etc.
- Deep knowledge of cloud architecture styles, design patterns, and cloud migration strategies, employing Cloud Adoption Framework, Well-Architected Framework, Azure Landing Zones, among others.
