Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking an experienced Cloud Solution Architect with a strong background in Microsoft Azure Government to join our team. As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions tailored to meet the stringent requirements of government clients. You will leverage your expertise in Windows and Linux administration, as well as networking, to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of cloud infrastructures. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Designing and implementing cloud architectures using Microsoft Azure Government
- Developing strategies for cloud adoption and migration specific to government regulations and compliance standards
- Ensuring the security of Azure Government environments by implementing best practices and compliance standards such as DoD SRG, FedRAMP, CJIS, or ITAR
- Managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure to improve performance and reduce costs
- Providing technical guidance and support to development teams during application design and deployment within Azure Government
- Troubleshooting issues related to cloud infrastructure, including networking problems
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that comply with government regulations
- Automating repetitive tasks using scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends in Azure technologies and recommend improvements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT administration with at least 3 years focused on cloud solutions architecture within Microsoft Azure Government environments.
- Proven experience with both Windows Server (Active Directory, IIS) and Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS) administration.
- Strong background in networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Government services including but not limited to Virtual Machines (VMs), Virtual Networks (VNets), Storage Accounts, App Services, Azure Active Directory (AAD), ARM templates.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM Templates specific to Azure environments.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes within an Azure context.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD tailored for Azure deployments.
- Strong scripting skills in languages like Python or PowerShell specific to automating tasks within Azure.
- US Citizenship and an active DoD secret security clearance.

This position is hybrid with 3 days a week at in Dahlgren, Virginia.
The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $110,000.00 - $140,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset.
