We are seeking a Cloud Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with 2-3 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing the reliability and scalability of our cloud infrastructure, implementing automation tools, and collaborating across engineering teams to ensure high-performance operations in our production environments.
YOU WILL
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure across [mention platforms, e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure].
- Build and maintain automation tools and scripts to streamline deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement and improve CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth, efficient releases.
- Configure and maintain monitoring and alerting systems for early problem detection and fast resolution.
- Work on load balancing, capacity planning, and disaster recovery strategies to ensure resilience and high availability of critical systems.
- Document system designs, processes, and troubleshooting guides to support the team’s knowledge base.
YOU HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience as a Cloud SRE, DevOps Engineer, or in a related role focused on cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, or Azure) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Proficiency in automation and scripting with languages like Python, Go, or Bash.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Argo CD) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, InfluxDB).Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, focusing on teamwork and knowledge sharing.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of best practices in security and compliance for cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with database management in cloud environments (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).Understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting (DNS, Load Balancers, VPNs, etc.).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
