Job Description

Job Summary:
As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of our
cloud-based infrastructure. Your role will involve designing and implementing security controls, monitoring
cloud resources for vulnerabilities, and supporting investigations of security incidents. You will work
closely with other IT and development teams to safeguard our cloud assets and ensure robust security
practices are integrated into our cloud operations.

Duties/Responsibilities:
● Participates in security architecture planning for cloud-based solutions
● Design, implement, and maintain security controls for cloud environments, including identity and
access management, encryption, and network security.
● Conduct regular security assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
● Assist in the Development and enforcement of security policies and procedures to comply with
industry standards and regulatory requirements.
● Support SOC investigations to security incidents, providing recommendations for remediation.
● Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud security trends and threats and recommend improvements to
enhance overall cloud security posture.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Cloud Security Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on AWS environments.

● In-depth knowledge of AWS security services (e.g., IAM, GuardDuty, Config, Inspector, KMS)
and best practices.
● Experience with cloud security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO
27001, GDPR) is a plus.
● Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Terraform) is a plus.
● Experience working with Kubernetes services (EKS, AKS)
● Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex security scenarios and provide
actionable recommendations.
● Relevant security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CISSP, CompTIA
Security+) are highly desirable.
● Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional
teams.
