Hybrid work (2 days a week in office) at St-Laurent Office: 2344 Alfred-Nobel, St-Laurent QC H4S0A4
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Installing and configuring new test equipment (Access point, Router / Gateway, Switch, etc.)
- Development of scripts in Python to optimize manual test execution
- Analyze and revise specifications for the development of new features
- Creation and execution of test procedures for functional validation
- Occasionally work with developers to reproduce customer issues and then validate the solution
- Document these cases in test procedures for the automation team to take charge of
- Oversee Aruba Access Point and Cloud projects / features
- Optimize the testing process to improve the overall quality of the products
Technical requirements:
- Knowledge in networking (802.*) - Wi-Fi technologies (802.11)
- Good knowledge of Linux
- Experience in test automation Python or relevant scripting language
- Software Testing experience
Asset :
- Knowledge of cloud technologies AWS / Azure / Google / CCSP certification
- Docker / Kubernetes
- CWNA / CCNA / CCNP certification
Education and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance / automation

Le candidat sera responsable de:
- Installer et configurer de nouveaux équipements de test (Point d’accès, Routeur/Passerelle, Commutateur, etc)
- Développement des scripts en Python afin d’optimiser l’exécution manuelle des tests
- Analyser et réviser des spécifications pour le développement de nouvelles fonctionnalités
- Création et exécution de procédures de test pour la validation des fonctionnalités
- Occasionnellement travailler avec les développeurs afin de reproduire des problèmes clients et de valider ensuite la solution
- Documenter ces cas dans des procédures de tests pour que l’équipe d’automation le prennent en charge
- Être en charge de projets/fonctionnalités Aruba Point d’accès et dans le nuage (Cloud)
- Optimiser le processus de test afin d’améliorer la qualité globale des produits
Exigences techniques :
- Connaissance en réseautique (802.*) - technologies Wi-Fi (802.11)
- Bonne connaissance de Linux
- Expérience en automatisation des tests logiciels Python ou autre langage de scripting
- Expérience en procedure de test logiciel
Atout :
- Connaissance des technologies nuagiques , Certification AWS/Azure/Google/CCSP
- Docker/Kubernetes
- Certification CWNA/CCNA/CCNP
Éducation et expérience :
- Baccalauréat en Génie Logiciel, Génie Électrique, Technologie de l’Information, ou équivalent.
- +5 ans d’expérience en assurance qualité et automatisation
