Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Implementation & Delivery Project Manager to lead and execute cloud migration and implementation projects. This role will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from planning and design through execution, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support, with a strong emphasis on application migration and infrastructure security. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cloud technologies, project management methodologies, and excellent communication and leadership skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and support infrastructure and application migration solutions for our clients, ranging from simple IT projects to large-scale, enterprise-level change programs.
  • Conduct application architecture assessments and define solutions for complex problems, requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Design, customize, and execute migration workflows incorporating technical steps to migrate or build infrastructure and application components.
  • Develop cost reduction strategies, including and calculating and comparing "as-is" vs. "to-be" Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
  • Provide technical guidance, defining and driving solutions that meet technical performance, scalability, flexibility, operational, and capability needs.
  • Manage onshore and offshore resources, distribute responsibilities, and report on status to client stakeholders.
  • Adhere to strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near-term project goals.
  • Independently determine methods and procedures for new assignments, making decisions that are implemented by the team.
  • Regularly meet and interact with our clients’ application owners and infrastructure support personnel to communicate migration activities, implementation plans, sequencing, timing of application outages, and post-migration testing.
  • Ensure the security of the cloud infrastructure throughout the migration process.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.

4+ year of experience in each of the following:

  • Leading the architectural design, development, deployment, and ensuring the technical quality of service delivery systems and tooling solutions.
  • Validating and evaluating system architecture to ensure alignment with technical design specifications.
  • Gathering business requirements.
  • Utilizing ITIL, DevOps, and Agile frameworks.
  • Collaborating effectively with account teams, client IT teams, and business process teams throughout the pursuit and application implementation.
  • Experience working with Docker or Podman, Kubernetes, and/or Openshift.
  • Experience as an administrator on a variety of Linux/Windows systems.
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile project management and IT quality processes and policies in a validated environment.
  • Experience with data/DB migration.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing technology (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with networking, compute infrastructure (servers, databases, firewalls, load balancers, etc.).
  • Knowledge of system monitoring, capacity planning, and architecture principles across infrastructure platforms.
  • Experience with cluster configuration (Windows, Linux).
  • Experience with information security practices and procedures.
  • Proficiency in documentation using MS Office products.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 5% of the time.
  • Willing and able to commute to the office 3 days per week.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
