The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of cloud-based solutions and software architectures. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud platforms, software development, and architectural principles, ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions.

Key Accountabilities:

• Architectural Design: Design and oversee the implementation of cloud-based architectures and software solutions.
• Platform Management: Manage and optimize cloud platforms, specifically Azure, to ensure high availability and performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud systems.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure cloud solutions meet security and compliance requirements, implementing best practices and adhering to regulatory standards.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize cloud infrastructure and software applications for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Innovation: Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and trends, and apply them to improve the organization’s cloud infrastructure.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architectures, processes, and procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in software development and architectural design.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., ARM, Bicep and Terraform).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with cloud software solutions and implementation.
• Knowledge of network and security best practices in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
