Job Description: Cloud Architect

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to design and implement multi-cloud solutions that align with our business goals and prioritize performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. This role will be pivotal in developing cloud strategies, architecting robust infrastructures on Azure and Google Cloud, and establishing best practices for cloud adoption and monitoring. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud frameworks and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and Design Solutions: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient cloud architectures.
• Documentation and Best Practices: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on cloud frameworks, security protocols, and deployment guidelines.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with DevOps, security, and development teams to integrate cloud solutions seamlessly into existing workflows.
• Monitoring and Optimization: Manage cloud environment performance and costs, optimizing resources and ensuring alignment with SLAs.
• Cloud Migration: Lead cloud migration projects, advising teams on cloud adoption strategies and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Cloud Experience: 5+ years of experience designing and deploying applications on Azure and Google Cloud.
• Cloud Framework Knowledge: Proficiency with Well-Architected Frameworks and best practices in cloud-native architectures.
• Scalability and Performance Expertise: Strong capability in architecting solutions for high availability, disaster recovery, and optimized performance.
• Collaboration and Communication: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clearly communicate complex technical ideas.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Cloud Certifications: Relevant certifications for Azure, Google Cloud, or multi-cloud architectures.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.
