Job Posting: Cloud Administrator (Intermediate Level)
Vistrada is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Cloud Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our cloud computing systems. This position is at the Intermediate level, and we are looking for candidates with a strong background in cloud technologies and system administration.
Position: Cloud Administrator Level: Intermediate
Personnel Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics is highly desired.
- Experience with DevOps methods and practices.
- One or more of the following or its equivalent:
- Hadoop/Cloud System Administrator Certification or comparable Cloud System/Service Certification is required.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or AWS Certified Developer Associate certification preferred.
Capabilities:
- Experience writing software scripts using scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, or Python.
- Demonstrated fundamental understanding and working knowledge of core components of the Linux operating system, including the management of user and group accounts in LDAP configuration of DHCP, DNS, and TFTP.
- Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting large scale cloud computing systems, including familiarity with distributed systems for storage and retrieval of data.
- Strong experience with Linux and/or Windows systems administration.
- Some programming experience, applicable to developing cloud management tools (one or more of Bourne/bash shell, ruby, python, perl).
- Demonstrated experience with configuration management tools.
- Understanding of the end-to-end Linux PXE/Network provisioning process.
- Familiarity with managing continuous integration tools.
- Experience with Active Directory and Active Directory Federation Services.
- Understanding of overall corporate architecture as well as familiarity with OpenSSL and Java keystore manipulation.
