What can you expect?

Accountability to assess and submit client and/or reinsurer presentation materials and communications to resolve difficult questions and secure reinsurer agreements and payments of account (premium) balances.

Integrates Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other system tools to manage difficult transactional processes and ensures assigned tasks are managed effectively and in a timely manner ensuring Client measurement Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are adhered to in order to provide services in an efficient, effective and regulatory compliant manner.

Develops complex information on accounting process for Request For Proposal (RFP) and sales opportunities in order to drive business growth.

Manages settlement of funds to and from Client in a timely manner in order to ensure all applicable contractual payment terms; warranties and/or conditions are met.

Implements processes to carry out reinsurance audit/reviews with clients and reinsurers and reviews premium activity, reconciles records in order to facilitate the review/audit process to ensure process quality.

Collaborates with peers on difficult or contentious reinsurance developments, supporting and providing training, mentoring and guidance within the team and/or department for all aspects of reinsurance service processing to assist with trouble shooting and to develop team resources.

Establishes and drives relationships with Brokers, Clients and Markets to understand issues in order to resolve problems and queries and review working practices.

We will count on you to be responsible for technical treaty matters:
-
Entry of contractual information into system for premium invoicing.
-
Review technical statements of accounts from clients; process statements and billings according to departmental procedures.

Attend to queries from clients, reinsurers, and related parties.
-
Assist in the resolution of technical accounting.
-
Ensure timely responses to monthly Regional and Local Controllerships' revenue review queries and requests.

Ensure procedures and documentation are in compliance with Guy Carpenter Professional Standards
-
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
What you need to have?
-
University Degree or equivalent experience
-
Experience in processing Treaty technical accounts in a reinsurance broking environment.
-
Prior experience in the Reinsurance industry, with specific experience of Treaty Reinsurance highly desirable
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Excellent Microsoft suite skills
-
Fluent in English is a must
