About the role:

The Client Success team follows a Client for Life Philosophy, and individuals in this role ensure that every Gartner client receives value far exceeding their investment. Associates seek to understand and surface client’s business priorities, breakdown challenges, and identify the most effective ways to support the client in making the right decisions for their business. 

The Open Territory team plays a critical role supporting clients when the existing service associate is no longer available. This dynamic position gives the successful candidate exposure to senior level clients across multiple industries, roles, and countries.

What you will do:

  • For territories without an assigned service associate, ensure that the client service experience is maintained, ensuring they receive enough value to retain and grow their existing service.

  • Get exposure to different Gartner Services across different regions within NA.

  • Opportunity to service Gartner clients in different languages where there is a business need.

  • Conduct regular high value service calls with clients ranging from senior C-levels to more junior client professions across various business functions, taking time to understand their most critical initiatives, understanding where Gartner can help and aligning them to relevant and impactful Gartner content. 

  • Introduce Gartner services and capabilities to new and existing clients, both educating them on how to access information and tools available to them.

  • Capture value delivered to the client linked back to their priorities, so that it can be communicated to the decision maker, in support of the service renewal.

  • Collaborate with internal Gartner partners across different regions to overcome obstacles and maximize the value Gartner delivers to clients.

  • When the open service territory is filled transition clients to the new associates to ensure a seamless client experience

What you will need:

  • 2+ years relevant professional and/or internship experience

  • Proven track record of success fueled by a passion for delighting clients.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, prioritization, critical thinking, and influencing skills.

  • Strong on process

  • Comfort with ambiguity and change (flexible) - Working with clients for short periods of time 

  • Proactively face challenges head on and think outside of the box to solve them.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferred

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 62,000 USD - 90,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO, a 401k match up to $7,200 per year, the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount, and more.
