The Client Success Manager (CSM) at Lincoln Property Company (LPC) is responsible for implementing and managing client success processes and strategies for one or more clients. This role may involve direct client account or portfolio management responsibilities and contributing to the day-to-day oversight of real estate operations. The CSM plays a pivotal role in ensuring client satisfaction, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Client Success & Service Delivery
- Ensure that client services align with LPC standards and unique client policies & procedures.
- Act as the primary liaison between LPC and client stakeholders to ensure objectives are met.
- Direct and control the preparation and delivery of periodic client service reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with client and company strategies.
Financial & Accounting Oversight
- Ensure client-required accounting initiatives and routine processes are completed accurately and on time.
- Assist in the oversight of field processes related to annual budgeting & operational expense (OpX) reconciliations, ensuring compliance with client financial requirements.
- Collaborate with field teams and property management leaders to maintain financial accuracy and meet deadlines.
Lease Administration & Compliance
- Assist with lease administration activities, including tracking and verifying compliance with client requirements for timeliness and accuracy.
Team & Process Management
- Coordinate long-term team activities, including setting program schedules, assigning tasks, and verifying completion.
- Lead training initiatives for client-focused strategies and key management delivery tasks such as budgeting and OpX.
- Establish and track staff and department deadlines to meet both client and LPC objectives.
- Mentor and coach team members to enhance performance and professional growth.
Process Optimization & Business Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, systems, and procedures to enhance client experience.
- Champion and present business cases for improvements, ensuring they align with LPC’s goals and client needs.
Leadership & Performance Management
- Provide formal supervision to assigned team members, overseeing recruiting, hiring, and onboarding.
- Monitor the training and development of staff, conducting performance evaluations and coaching.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance within the team.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other tasks as assigned to support client and company goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) preferred; minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in property management, client success, or a related field.
- In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Real Estate License required where mandated by local regulations for assigned duties.
- CPM or RPA professional designation or active candidacy is preferred.
Technical & Software Skills
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
- Knowledge of Yardi, MRI, or Kardin software is preferred.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex topics to internal teams and clients.
- Strong ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
Financial & Analytical Skills
- Advanced financial acumen, including the ability to forecast outcomes, prepare budgets with long-term capital planning, and deliver variance reports.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data to support decision-making.
- Experience preparing cost-benefit analyses, ROI assessments, and business proposals.
Organizational & Leadership Skills
- Strong organizational skills that enable the timely delivery of results and improved team productivity.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and solve complex operational challenges, often requiring multiple solutions.
- Experience working with commercial office, retail, and industrial properties is highly preferred.
