We are hiring a Client Services Digital Associate in our New York City office.

About the Role:

As a Client Services Digital Associate, you will coordinate major marketing, communications, and digital advertising campaigns on behalf of some of the country’s most prominent companies, trade associations, nonprofits and advocacy organizations. In this role, you will be a critical member of an account team with a Client Services Digital Strategy Manager and a Senior Managing Director to service key client accounts and project manage the delivery of Applecart’s products throughout a client’s subscription. You’ve previously worked in a client services role and/or in a fast-paced environment and have the long-term desire to serve in a client-facing capacity. You are naturally curious and are open to mastering our processes and being trained in digital marketing. You are extremely organized and proactive, pay close attention to every detail within a process, and are always looking for ways to improve and streamline your work. This role will report to a Digital Strategy Manager on the Client Services team. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as a core team member on 8-12 client accounts. Coordinate within your account team and cross-functionally to effectively and efficiently manage project timelines and ensure on-time delivery of Applecart’s products on behalf of clients. 
  • Proactively communicate clearly and comfortably with senior level stakeholders at Applecart - some of whom have 20-30 years of experience at leading firms in public affairs, communications and business development -  in written and verbal formats. 
  • Prepare the first draft of all client deliverables, such as monthly performance reports, with strong attention to detail to ensure 100% accurate data. 
  • Write the first draft of all client communications, including email correspondence in a professional and concise tone. 
  • Join client and partner calls to record notes, occasionally answer questions when requested. 
  • Work within Applecart’s project management tools and client delivery processes to ensure operational excellence throughout a digital marketing campaign and client’s subscription. 
  • Stay up-to-date on digital marketing trends, research clients or trends in the news, conduct market research. 

Experiences and Capabilities You Bring:

  • 1+ years of experience in a related role working at one of the following: 
    • At a public affairs, strategic communications, public relations or lobbying firm or agency 
    • In-house in a public affairs, legislative affairs, government affairs, communications, public relations or marketing role 
    • On Capitol Hill in a Member of Congress or Committee office; or on a federal or state political campaign 
  • Ability to thrive in a client-facing role and fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment while juggling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; impeccable attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Powerpoint and Excel, experience with basic graphic design for reporting a plus 
  • Experience producing intuitive, client-ready decks and memos
  • History of being a self-starter
  • Desire to work in and/or learn digital marketing 

This is a hybrid role. Work from anywhere on Monday and Friday and in Applecart’s New York City office Tuesday through Thursday. 

Compensation:

Our compensation package consists of three components: (i) a base salary, (ii) annual cash bonus, and (iii) generous equity compensation.

The base salary range for this role is between $65,000-$80,000, based on the candidate's experience and skills relative to the requirements listed above. The salary range provided is exclusive of discretionary annual cash bonus and equity compensation. The salary range provided for this role is specific to candidates located in the New York City area.
