About the Role
As an Associate in Client Relations, you will play a key role in seeking, developing and potentially managing relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and financial intermediaries across Europe. You will support fundraising efforts, investor due diligence, and overall data analysis across all Prologis’ Strategic Capital products. This position requires a highly motivated professional with an understanding of real estate capital markets. The opportunity will involve shadowing a senior relationship manager to develop into junior relationship manager over time.
Capital Raising & Investor Relations
- Support fundraising initiatives by engaging with institutional investors, preparing marketing materials, and managing investor outreach.
- Assist in due diligence processes, responding to investor inquiries and coordinating investment documentation.
- Develop a deep understanding of Prologis' investment strategies and effectively communicate key value propositions to investors.
- Provide “best in class” investor experience by building and deepening relationships with existing and new institutional investors through planning and coordinating investor events in collaboration with members of other Private Capital departments and the wider Prologis organization (e.g. annual investor conferences, webinars, research events, fund road shows, investor dinners).
- Track investor engagement, feedback, and pipeline development using CRM tools.
- Attend real estate asset tours and industry conferences.
- Willingness to ‘cold call’ investors.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends influencing institutional investment in real estate.
- Support the development of tailored fundraising strategies across European and LatAm markets.
- Analyze investor portfolios and asset allocation trends to identify capital raising opportunities.
Investment Structuring & Execution
- Assist in the structuring of new investment vehicles, including funds, joint ventures, and separately managed accounts.
- Work closely with legal, tax, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of capital commitments.
- Monitor fund performance and assist in investor reporting and presentations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or communications.
- 2+ years in investor relations or capital raising, ideally in private equity or real estate.
- Fluency in English and German (written & spoken); additional languages (Spanish/French) are a plus.
- Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of real estate fund structures, private equity fundraising, and institutional investor dynamics.
- Experience engaging with LPs, pension funds, insurance firms, and family offices.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and CRM systems (Dynamo).
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to perform under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
