As a Product Manager specializing in Portfolio Oversight, you will play a key role in developing a centralized tool designed to streamline the client onboarding process. Additionally, you will be responsible for helping design an advanced performance reconciliation tool which would then be leveraged to perform other reconciliations (holdings, trades, etc.). The ideal candidate will have domain expertise in trading processes, including performance evaluation, pricing of securities, and accounting, as well as a strong understanding of relevant software implementations and project management methodologies. Your contributions will be essential in enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Oversight: Develop expertise around PIMCO’s Hedge Share Class (HSC) product and become SME around fund structure, strategy and operations of the various HSC types. Daily real-time monitoring of all fund flows and rebalancing trading activity to ensure accurate FX exposure is maintained.
• Data Strategy: In collaboration with consultants, spearhead the design, delivery, and adoption of a data strategy around PIMCO Fund and Client data.
• Project Management: Define cross-functional dependencies, identify key milestones, and manage critical paths to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to align on project scope, proactively identify and mitigate risks, and ensure the delivery of measurable business value.
• Strategic Planning: Develop customized delivery strategies and incremental project plans that align with transformation objectives and drive continuous improvement.
• Change Management: Champion change management initiatives and promote user adoption, ensuring the smooth integration of solutions into business operations and fostering a culture of innovation

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business (Accounting or Finance preferred) or a STEM field or equivalent practical experience. 
• Familiarity with operational functions around funds and an understanding of the impact of trading activity by Portfolio Managers.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in program, product, or project management, or related business experience, with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong understanding of agile project management principles and practices, with experience in leading agile teams.
• Exceptional analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions that drive business success
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive change in a dynamic environment.

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.

Salary Range: $ 137,500.00 - $ 195,000.00
