Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work closely with Sales and Service to meet and exceed service needs of clients
• Manage Strategic Timeline of clients and clearly communicate among all team members, including sales, service and shared services their role and responsibility in the delivery of the strategy
• Attend client meetings onsite and via phone
• Work with sales and service to develop renewal strategy
• Work closely with sales and service to develop new business opportunities including responding to RFP opportunities
• Assist in identifying needs of clients and utilize shared services, such as Wellness, to provide solutions to meet the needs of clients
• Comply with all internal procedures and practices while demonstrating the ability to meet service performance and quality standards
• Follow the direction of Management and comply with all company policies
• Other duties as assigned and requested by management
Background and Experience:
• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred
• Valid Indiana Life and Health License, or willingness to obtain
• Previous customer service experience in an insurance or medical environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook programs
• Familiar with health insurance policies, ERISA laws and industry terminology
• Excellent communication and diplomacy skills to resolve client issues; able to communicate and execute resolutions
• Must be able to interpret guidelines and utilize resources available to analyze and resolve issues and conflicts
• Maintain confidentiality of all customer account information within HIPAA guidelines
• Goal oriented, highly self-motivated and resourceful to achieve results
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Local travel may be required
